Lee Garber Briner

Lee Garber Briner, 84, of Anderson, passed away on April 14, 2018. Lee was born on August 24, 1933 to the late Clyde and Helen (Thompson) Briner in Loysville, Pennsylvania. Lee retired from Delco-Remy in 1987 as a Maintenance Supervisor. He was a member of the Lapel Masonic Lodge He is survived by his children, Clyde (Tracie) Briner of Michigan, Terry Briner of Anderson, Thomas (DeEtte) Briner of Maryland; grandchildren, Adam Briner, Apryl Freesland, Abby Lorenzen, Rachael Briner, Zachary Briner, and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Linda Lee Briner; brother, Robert Briner; sister, Shirley Crowley; and nephews, Billie Crowley and Mike Miller. The family would like to thank St. Vincent Hospice, and especially JoAnne Smith and Vickie Turner for all of their loving care. A Funeral and Masonic Service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013. Burial will be at East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Vincent Hospice, 2015 Jackson St., Anderson, IN 46016.
