Lawrence Lee Norris

Lee Norris, 48, Anderson, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2012, at Community Hospital of Anderson following an extended illness. He was born on August 24, 1963, in Muncie, Indiana to Lawrence and Patricia (Powell) Norris. He graduated from Delta High School in 1981. He was a member of the Second Chance Baptist Church in Anderson and the Muncie Moose. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Sonja L. Norris; three sons, Mark Carlton, Dustin and Jason Bisel; one granddaughter, Faith Bisel; three brothers, Jack "Topper" Matchett, Chuck and Steven Freel; two aunts, Nancy Freel and Mary Powell; seven sisters-in-law, Sharon, Debbie and Terry, Lisa and Fred, Cathy and Jack, Bobbie and Scott, Teresa, and Rhonda; three brothers-in-law, John and Chrissey, Terry, and Jimmy and Brenda; special friend Cora; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his father-in-law, Big John Frawley. A funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Chaplain George Clark officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel. Memorial contributions may be made to to the family in care of Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, P. O. Box 427, Lapel, Indiana 46051-0427.
