Laura “Lori” Nannie

Laura “Lori” Nannie, 58, of Muncie, passed away on October 23, 2023 surrounded by her family. Lori was born on October 18, 1965 to the late Paul Frederick and Lois Alberta (Mahla) Schaefer. Lori was married to the love of her life, Charles “Chuck” Nannie, for 30 years. She worked at The Woodlands for a number of years before her retirement due to illness. Lori had worked in the nursing field since the age of 16. She loved the color green, frogs, fishing, and watching football. She was an avid reader and crime show watcher. She loved doing crafts and baking with her family.

Lori will be dearly missed by her husband, Chuck; sons, Carl Allen Beardsley, Tyler Scott Brantlinger, and Caleb Austin Nannie; grandchildren, Paige and Caspen Brantlinger; and brothers, Fred (wife, Crystal) Schaefer, Rick (wife, Sue) Schaefer, and Bill (wife, Johnna) Schaefer.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Monte Joe Schaefer.

The graveside ceremony will be private for close friends and family. Funeral services have been entrusted to Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory.
