Larry N. Thompson

Larry N. Thompson, 77, Pendleton, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015, at Clearvista Lake Health Campus in Indianapolis following an extended illness. He was born on June 11, 1938, in Sullivan, Indiana to Arthur and Hazel Thompson. Larry was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War and he retired from the Fort Wayne Bus and Truck division of General Motors and had also worked at the GM plant on the west side of Indianapolis. He was a member of the Indianapolis Camera club and enjoyed boating. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Susan (Judge) Thompson; three children, Arthur Thompson of Pendleton, Lorie Clay of Indianapolis, and Rolly Thompson of Pendleton. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Saturday, July 25, 2015, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
