Larry L. Bever

Larry Lee Bever, 80, of Markleville, Indiana passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at his residence. He was born August 18, 1943, in Charlottesville, Indiana to the late Edward and Juanita (McPhearson) Bever.

Larry retired from PQ Corporation in Anderson as a boiler operator for many years but had also worked at Anderson burial vault for 10 years and was a truck driver. He loved gardening but his real love was auto racing and had worked with CORA Car owners racing association. He could be found many week-ends at Sun Valley Speedway (Anderson Speedway) or Mount Lawn Speedway.

Survivors include his son, Brad (Shelia) Bever, daughter, Cathy (Troy) Morris, granddaughter, Courtney Clark, great grandchildren, Damon and Devon Laughlin, and Destiney Brown, siblings, Philip (Mary) Bever, David (Carol) Bever, Marlene Colestock and Phyllis Johns, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Ricky Bever and brothers-in-laws, Don Colestock and Terry Johns.

Funeral service for Larry will be Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. at Condo and St. Pierre Funeral Service in Wilkinson with burial to follow at Harlan Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11-1 prior to service.
