Larry 'Butch' N. Forrer

Larry "Butch" N. Forrer, 78, Elwood, Illinois passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020, at his residence in Elwood, Illinois following an extended illness.He was born on August 23, 1941, in Lapel, Indiana to Harold and Elaine (Edwards) Forrer.Larry was a Vietnam Veteran. He worked head of Maintenance for Burbank School District in Burbank, Illinois. After retiring from the school, he took residence in Elwood, Illinois.He loved hanging out at the Moose Lodge with his buddies.Larry is survived by three loving children; Kelly Insko-Cravens (fianc, Bean McDole), Michelle (Danny -his caregiver) Master, and Larry (Sandy) Insko. Five grandchildren; Jennea (Travis) Grigus, Jeremy Kolberg, Dana (Aaron) Cooper, Rebecca Cravens, and Cameron Cravens. Four siblings; Shirley Buffone, Rita Williams, Carolyn Wix, and Joan Fisher. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews.Larry was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; Rebecca (Insko) Forrer; three siblings; Donald Forrer, Merritt Forrer, and Brenda Welch.A Cemetery Committal Service will be held at 12:15 PM on Saturday, July 25, 2020, at Brookside Cemetery, 2900 Brookside Road, Lapel, Indiana, with Rev.
