Larry Bret Maxwell

Larry Bret Maxwell, 63, of Pendleton, passed away at his residence on May 16, 2021. He was born in Anderson on May 20, 1958 to Bobbie and Betty (Huse) Maxwell Larry was the owner of Maxwell’s Trim Shop in Pendleton. He was a special one of a kind person. He loved racing from Go-Karts to Drag Racing, traveling and camping at NASCAR races and restoring antique cars. He also enjoyed nature and kayaking with family and friends. He was a music lover. He is survived by his wife, Daphne (Pugh) Maxwell of Pendleton; children, Tara Maxwell, Levi Maxwell, both of Pendleton; grandchildren, Tracy Price, Tonna Price, Oliver Maxwell; parents, Bobbie and Betty (Huse) Maxwell; sisters, Cindy (Danny) Helms of Lapel, Susan (companion, Mark Graham) Maxwell of Anderson, Brenda (Tony) Day of Zionsville and several nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his cousin, Brian Maxwell. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 5:00 pm at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 pm prior to the Celebration.
