Lacey Leigh Mankin, of Anderson, passed away, December 21, 2018, at her residence. She was born April 30, 1971, in Anderson, the daughter of Linda Stamm. She graduated from Anderson High School and was a homemaker. She also earned a bachelor’s degree from IUPUI and a master’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan. Lacey served in the 138th Signal Battalion of the Army National Guard, was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and involved with the animal rescue community. Lacey is survived by her husband Matt Mankin; four children, Taylor Gross, Laney Mankin, Madeline Mankin and Michael Mankin; two brothers; a stepfather, Verle Stamm; and four dogs and a cat. She was preceded in death by her mother and a sister. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Rev. John Jameson officiating. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the Funeral home.
