Kris Lynn Blackburn

Kris Lynn Blackburn, 49, Fishers, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016.

She was born on April 21, 1967, in Noblesville, Indiana to Lee and Mary (Barbee) Harger.

Kris was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend.

She graduated from Hamilton Southeastern High School and received a bachelor's degree from Indiana University.

Kris had been employed by GMAC Financial in Indianapolis.

She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Lapel.

She is survived by her husband of over 18 years, Michael Blackburn; two children, Ryan and Katelyn Blackburn; one brother, Ritch Harger of Noblesville; and several adoring aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Loretta McDowell.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, July 30, 2016, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev.s Byron Fritz and Dewey Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, July 29, 2016, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
