Kent D. Mckenney

Kent D. McKenney, 62, of Pendleton, passed away on May 24, 2024, surrounded by his family. Born on October 6, 1961, in Anderson, Indiana, he was the son of the late Richard Perry McKenney and Carol Ann (Shaw) McKenney. Kent spent many years as a heavy machine operator with E&B Paving and was a proud member of the Operators Union 103. His passions included fishing, cheering on the Pacers, mushroom hunting, collecting fishing lures, and riding motorcycles. A man of deep convictions, Kent cherished his family above all.

Kent will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Donna; children, Benjamin (Breeanna) McKenney, Kasey (Brian Hilts) McKenney, and Spencer (Victoria) McKenney; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Rylee, and Sophie; and his brother, David (Lisa) McKenney. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Terry McKenney.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, May 31, 2024, at Wilson St. Pierre-Lahm Chapel, 211 E. State Street, Pendleton, IN 46064. The funeral ceremony will commence at 1:00 PM at the funeral home, followed by burial in Grovelawn Cemetery. Kent’s services have been entrusted to Wilson St. Pierre-Lahm Chapel.
