Kenneth Mauck, 97, of Anderson, passed away at Primrose Memory Care, on Nov. 1, 2020. He was born Sept. 13, 1923 in Hamilton County to the late Cecil and Elsie (Brown) Mauck. Kenny served his country in the Army during World War II. He retired from Container Corporation having worked in the printing department. He was a member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church for over 70 years and was active with many of the church committees. Kenny enjoyed golfing, loved Anderson Indians basketball, spending time with his family and friends, but especially, Corey and Andy. Kenny is survived by his daughters, Anza Manning, of Annapolis, Maryland, and Nedra Herbert, of Anderson; stepchildren, Kelly Jones, of San Antonio, Texas, and Kevin Jones, of Houston, Texas; grandson, Corey (Danielle) Herbert; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Asher and Abram Herbert. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Vonda (Chestnut) Mauck; second wife, Delberta (Jones) Mauck; sister, Naomi Sanders; brother, Clarence Mauck; and a grandson, Andrew J. Herbert. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, with Pastor Daryl Gilbert officiating. Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Matthew United Methodist Church, 1512 N Madison Ave., Anderson, IN 46011. The family would like to give a heart felt thank you to the staff of Primrose Memory Care for the kindness & compassion shown toward our Dad. Due to recent COVID-19 mandates, all guests are required to wear face masks and practice social distancing.
