Kenneth E. Bolton, 92, Fort Wayne, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2004, at his residence following a brief illness.
He was born on July 23, 1912 in Festus, Missouri to Frank and Elizabeth (Marshall) Bolton. He was a WWII Navy veteran and served in the Pacific Theater. He retired from Sears Roebuck & Co. in Anderson as a sales person in 1976. He was a member of the Ford Street United Methodist Church and a retired member of the Lapel Volunteer Fire Department. He is survived by his wife, I. Louise (Carter) Bolton; two sons, Ronald (wife, Marcella) Bolton of Cape Coral, FL, and Michael (wife, Debbie) Bolton of Fort Wayne, IN; a son-in-law, Fred Presser of Fort Wayne, IN; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra K. Presser in 1994. Graveside services will be held 11:30 AM Monday at Brookside Cemetery in Lapel with Rev. Linda Martin officiating. Friends may call from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lapel Volunteer Fire Department, P. O. Box 999, Lapel, Indiana 46051-0999.
