Kenneth Allen Bourke

Kenneth Allen "Kenny" Bourke, 51, Lapel, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018, at his home.
He was born on November 29, 1966, in Anderson to Kenneth and Janiece A. (McClintick) Bourke.
Kenny was graduated from Lapel High School in 1985.
He was employed by Cobalt Civil and formerly by U. S. Foods.
Kenny enjoyed hunting and fishing and had served on the Lapel-Stony Creek Fire Department from 1987 to 2005 and he became an EMT in 1991 and also served as a fire investigator. He had worked during the Indianapolis 500 as a pit fireman for several years.
He is survived by two children, Stephanie Heavey and Kenny Bourke; two grandchildren, Aleigh and James Heavey his father, Kenneth B. Bourke, a sister, Angela Bourke-Jackson.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his mother.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, June 28, 2018, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel at a later date.
