Kegan Nicholas T Kendall

Kegan Nicholas T Kendall, 20, of Shirley left his earthly body on December 8, 2023. He passed at his home. He was born June 29, 2003 in Greenfield, Indiana the son of Steven T and Megan Marie (West) Kendall.

Kegan was a devoted member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 103.

Kegan, all around us still, is survived by his beloved fiancée, Jasmine and their unborn baby girl, Maelynn Faye T Kendall; parents, Steven and Megan Kendall; sisters, Bobbie Lynn Kendall and Shelby Marie Kendall; nephews, Kason Anthony T Stoker and Asher Lee T Stoker; paternal aunt and uncle, Shelley (David) Spegal; maternal grandparents, Victor (Daw) and Rita West; paternal grandparents, Terry (Papaw) and Vicki (Mamaw) Kendall.

Kegan is welcomed into the Boundless Light by his Maw-maw Margo West, and his best friend, Jackson Wyatt Smith.

Kegan was an indescribable young man. There simply aren’t words to adequately encapsulate the impact he had, and will continue to have on those privileged enough to have known him. Kegan’s incomparable wit, charm, and humor was seemingly effortless, and he could bring a smile to anyone’s face. Kegan was the hardest worker, and carried out all that he did with passion and care.

Kegan’s soul is the purest to be seen, and that soul lives on, for it is not bound by the physical.

Kegan lives on all around us, and he would want us all to find peace in knowing that he is not gone, but quite the contrary. He is everywhere, all at once, all the time.

Services will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Condo and St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, 130 S. Main St., Wilkinson with Pastor Bob Lines officiating. Burial will follow in Saunders Cemetery, Daleville. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday prior to services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a GoFundMe account established by the family in support of Kegan’s baby girl.
