It is with a mix of sadness and joy as we celebrate the life of Kay Joan Kreegar, a vibrant mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, who brightened the lives of all who knew her. Born on October 10, 1934, in Valparaiso, Indiana, Kay lived a remarkable 90 years, filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. She left us peacefully on March 11, 2025, at Northview Health and Living in Anderson, Indiana.
Kay was known for her warmth and nurturing nature. A dedicated wife to the late Richard E. A long-time member of Chesterfield Christian Church, Kay's faith was a guiding force in her life and her generosity was felt by everyone around her.
In her spare time, Kay had a passion for sewing and cake decorating, and her cooking skills were simply amazing. Family gatherings were made even sweeter with her delicious homemade creations, and she was often known as the best cook in the family.
Kay is survived by her children, Clifton (spouse, Laura) Kreegar, Robin Hamilton, Randi Kreegar, Kitti (spouse, Steve) Tucker, Nanette Kreegar, Bill (spouse, Diane) Kreegar, and Helen Deckter; Siblings, Beverly Riggs and Kenny (spouse, Phyllis) McNew; She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and special friends David and Holly Renz whom she loved very much.
