Kathy Lynn King

Kathy Lynn King, 64, Lapel, passed away on May 20, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Noblesville on June 18, 1955 to the late Arthur Dale and Wanda June (Meredith) Counceller. Kathy retired from Hartz Mountain. She loved to camp and spend time with her family. She is survived by her children, Scott (Amanda) King of Lapel, Angi (Ryan) King of Anderson; grandchildren, Schuyler, Shyann (Zach), Kaley, Chrystal, Amber, and Ryley; great grandchildren, Zach, William, Joe, Nicole, Elizabeth, Carson, Lillian, Ryan, Michael; brothers, Kevin (Lisa) Counceller, Randy (Anna) Counceller and her four legged baby, Baxter. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Wanda (Meredith) Counceller; step-father, Stanley Shaw; husband of 44 years, James King; brother, Wayne Counceller and a sister, Debbie Daniels. Services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013 with Pastor Andy Cole officiating. Burial will be at Grovelawn Cemetery in Pendleton. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
