Kathy J. Weaver

Kathy J. (Gossage) Weaver, 60, passed away August 27, 2016 at her home.She was born October 14, 1955 in Henry County, Indiana and was a lifelong resident.Kathy was a dental assistant for Dr. Ronald Kaseff for over 40 years. She was a 1974 graduate of Shenandoah High School and a 1975 graduate of Professional Careers Institute.Survivors include her husband, David A. Weaver whom she married, January 27, 1982; four children, Jennifer (husband, Dr. Kevin) Burton of Fishers, David “Chance” (wife, Rusta) Weaver of Pendleton, Eric (wife, Jessica) Weaver of Anderson and Whitney “Paige” Weaver of Middletown; two brothers, Roger (wife, Jill) Gossage and Jerry (wife, Cathy) Gossage both of New Castle; sister, Wanda (husband, Frank) Keller of Indianapolis; five grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, Fayette and Dora (Boston) Gossage; and a niece, Mitzi McMullen.A celebration of Kathy’s life will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, 211 E. State St., Pendleton, Indiana 46064 with Pastor Walt Weaver officiating. A visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Lahm Chapel.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are requested to Shriners Hospital for Children c/o Murat Temple, 510 N.
