Ms. Kathryn Jeanette Clark

Kathryn J. Clark, 87, of Anderson, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016 after a sudden illness. Born October 1, 1929, in Brazil, Indiana to the late Roy & Anna (Miller) Baxter. Kathryn moved to Anderson in 1943 and graduated from Anderson High School in 1947. She was Miss Anderson of 1948 and then married Ronald Clark on December 30, 1949. Kathryn was a homemaker and also was Manager of Cosmetics at Weiler’s Department Store. She was a member of East Lynn Christian Church and attended Cross Roads United Methodist Church. Kathryn is survived by her eight children, Cindi McCord, David (Lori) Clark, Susan Humes (Darryl), Lisa Rinker, Richard Clark, Cathy (Bob) Osborne, Joe (Amanda) Clark, & Lora Walter; grandchildren, Nathan & Conor McCord, Courtney, Sean, & Sara Clark, Trevor Humes, Katie (Kyle) McCoy, Tyler Rinker, Christopher & Rebecca Clark, Alisha Burns, Joel (Brittany) Stubblefield, Zachary & MacKenzie Clark, & Cody Walter; great grandchildren, Mariah, Piper, Kraya, Caleb, Owen, Jada, Easton, Chloe, Gracen, & Nolan; sister-in-law, Nancy Baxter; nieces & nephews, Karen, Brice, Mike, & Mindy; best friend, Rosalie Poulson; many other friends and family. She was preceded in death by husband of 64 years, Ronald W. Clark; daughter, Christine Clark; brother, Robert Baxter; and special cousin, Elizabeth Turner. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 28, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, with Pastor John Hackney officiating. Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, November 27 at the funeral home.
