Kathryn Bee Williams

Kathryn B. Williams, 79, of Anderson, passed away on March 10, 2019 at her residence. She was born on June 5, 1939 in Anderson to the late Heywood and Lillian (Parson) Cappel. Kay retired from Kmart in 1995 after 19 years of service. She was a past member of the Red Hat Society and the Firefighters Women Auxillary. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. Kay is survived by her husband of 59 years, Edward Williams of Anderson; children, Kenny (Angie) Williams of Anderson, Mary Jo (Tom) Jones of Gurnee, IL, Debbie (Dave) Wilbur of Anderson, Bobby (Mary) Williams of Sulpher, LA; grandchildren, Jamie (Joey) Hill, Jennifer Williams, Emily Williams, Tommy Jones, Andy Jones, Katie Wilbur, Kym Wilbur, Kristina Anderson, Corinne Miller, Zack Shaffer; great grandchildren, Brock Hill, Zayden Troutman, Kennley Williams, Mackenzee Anderson, Haylee Anderson, Liam Moore, Declan Cole, Logan Cole; sister in-laws, Rita Mason, Nancy Cappel, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Herbert Cappel, and step daughter, Bonnie Shaffer. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Vincent Hospice, especially Terri Heath and Candi Hull for all of their loving care. Services will be on Saturday at 1:00 pm at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013. Burial will be at East Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Vincent Hospice Care.
