Kathleen Danford

Kathleen Danford, 87, Lapel, passed away Friday, July 24, 2020, at Copper Trace Nursing Home in Westfield following a brief illness.She was born on December 2, 1932, in Winchester, Indiana to Oda Coryell and Zella (Ross) Coryell.Kathleen graduated from Morton Memorial High School, Knightstown, Indiana. She was also a graduate of Ball State University.She retired in 2005 from Walker Research in Indianapolis. Kathleen was a member of the Theta Pi chapter of Sigma Phi Gama. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also loved to travel and garden. She is survived by her daughter, Valerie (Todd) Zeiss of Lapel; sister, Cecil Estman of Harlingen, TX; 4 grandsons, Daniel, Jack, Josh, and Justin. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Homer Danford Jr.; and her son, Jack Danford.At this time there will be no public services due to Covid-19.Cremation will take place.Hersberger-Bozell Funeral Home has been entrusted in the care for the Danford and Zeiss family.Online condolences: www.hersbergerbozell.com
