Kathey S. Lambert

Kathey S. Lambert, 71, of Anderson, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at Community Hospital Anderson following an extended illness. She was born on April 30, 1952 in Anderson, Indiana.

She graduated from Pendleton High School. Kathey was devoted to being a caregiver throughout her life. She had a servant’s heart and that started in her youth caring for children with disabilities. She worked for various health care providers including the former Family Tree Nursing Home in Anderson and Anderson Family Practice.

She was always very passionate about being involved with her children and grandchildren in their daily activities. Kathey was a devoted Christian and was a faithful member of Liberty Grove Baptist Church in Anderson.

Kathey is survived by her husband whom she married on Feb. 24, 1971, Gerald “Jerry” Lambert, Jr.; three daughters, Melinda (Scott) Becraft, Jennifer (Raymundo) Diaz, and Kimberly (Kevin) Bell; five brothers, Chuck (Carolyn) Eytchison, Steve Eytchison, Phil (Janice) Eytchison, Ralph (Gloria) Eytchison, and Jeff (Lynette) Eytchison; nine grandchildren, Alexis (Noah) Rudolph, Quinn Becraft, Alan Diaz, Grayson Diaz, Kia Diaz, Bronson Bell, Beau Bell, Taylor (Jeff) Childress, and Nick Bell; seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Eytchison and Etta Pearl (Michael) Paschal, her step-father, Robert Paschal; Sister, Debra Veppert; and granddaughter, Antonia Diaz.

A funeral service celebrating Kathey’s life will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home, 515 East 53^rd Street, Anderson, Indiana 46013, with Pastor Hervey Lawrence officiating.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 12:00pm – 1:00pm on Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family through the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
