Karese Ayn Miller

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Karese Ayn Miller, who went to see Jesus on January 6, 2025 at Community Hospital in Anderson. Born on January 7, 1967, in Mansfield, Ohio, to Jim and Amy (Peck) Miller, Karese brought joy and laughter to those around her throughout her life.

Karese attended Park Manor Special Education, where she flourished in her own unique way. She had a true passion for classic black and white movies, often chatting with friends and family with her deep knowledge of Hollywood trivia. History was another of her loves, and you could always find her intrigued in history documentaries or planning her next travel destination.

Family meant everything to Karese, and she cherished her time at family reunions. She loved the moments spent bonding, sharing stories, and creating memories with those she loved. A frequent visitor to bookstores and movie theaters, Karese had an insatiable curiosity for stories—both written and on the silver screen.

Karese is survived by her father, Jim C. Miller; brother, D.R. (Robyn) Miller; Nieces, Ashley, Michaela, and Amiya. '

She was preceded in death by her mother, Amy C. (Peck) Miller; two brothers, Jeff and Chip Miller; Grandparents, Don and Evelyn Miller, of Mansfield, Ohio and Frank and Georgia Vild, also of Mansfield, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held in the coming days, where family and friends will gather to celebrate Karese’s life and the wonderful impact she had on all of us. Burial will take place at Grovelawn Cemetery in Pendleton.
