Karen Skinner, 73, of Pendleton, passed away after anautomobile accident, March 15, 2018.Karen was born April 16, 1944, in New Castle, the daughter of the late Ronand Helen Gustin. She resided in Madison County most of her life, andbesides being a homemaker, she had a passion for cars from a young age andenjoyed stock car racing at Anderson Speedway and IMS. She also enjoyedattending PHHS athletic events. She was a lover of animals and had a blackLabrador.She is survived by a son and daughter, Adam Skinner and Kandi (David)Homyak; three grandchildren, Noah, Zoe and Sophia Homyak; a sister,Connie Gustin; and her K-9 companion, Willow June.A gathering for family and friends will be Monday, March 19, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory Lahm Chapel, 211 East State St., Pendleton IN.
