Julie Ann Porter

Julie Ann Porter, 54, formerly of Anderson, Passed away on January 10, 2018 in Kokomo, Indiana. Born in Anderson to the late Joseph F. and Monna L. (Scott) Jackson. She graduated from Highland High School and attended Ball State University. She was married to Mark Porter and they shared years 7 of marriage. She was retired from Smurffit Stone where she was employed for 15 years. She enjoyed music, singing, dancing, cooking and spending time with her grandson. She is survived by her husband Mark Porter; daughter, Ashley Bodkins; brother Joseph B. Jackson (wife, Joni); and grandson Kyle T. Lawson; a nephew and four nieces She was preceded in death by her brother Robert A. Jackson; and son Jordan P. Upton. Services will be at 6:00 p.m. Monday, January 15, 2018, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until time of services. Memorial contributions may be made to Kokomo Rescue Mission P.O. Box 476 Kokomo, Indiana 46903-4076.
