Judith M. Baker, 75, of Anderson, passed away April 19, 2018 at her home after a brief illness. She was born August 28, 1942 in Anderson and lived here most of her life. She retired from Community Hospital after 15 years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her family, swinging on the swing in Santa Claus, IN, as well as bowling and fishing. Judith is survived by her husband of 20 years, Harold Baker; children, Rhonda (Chip) Broderick, Tammie (Jim) Humphrey, Joey (Kim) Brown, of Santa Claus, Bryan (Tranda) Brown and Michele (Brad Greene) Brown; step-sons, Steve and Chris McClelland; 14 grandchildren, Misty, Brandi, Travis, Chelsea, Lauren, Kalei, Breanna, Shane, Austin, Mitchell, Mekynzie, Jessica, Kendyl and Aubree; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters, Carol Joan (Wayne) Kirby of Daleville and Crystal (Mit) Parker of Orlando, FL; brother, Larry (Kim) Hunt of Greenfield; sister-in-law, Martha (Parker) Newsom of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents William “Jack” Bowling and Phyllis (Rush) Hunt; brother, Marvin Bowling; step-mother, Ruby Bowling; and step-father, Hugh Hunt. The family would like to offer special thanks to Leanna Wechsler and Keli Crandall of St. Vincent Hospice of Anderson. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 23, 2018 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Pastor Gary McCaslin officiating. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent Hospice of Anderson.
