Judith Elaine Judy Romine

Judith Elaine Judy Romine, 69, Fishers, formerly of Lapel, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2008, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville following a brief illness.
She was born on August 1, 1939, in Shelbyville, Indiana to William and Virginia (Owens) McCain.
She graduated from Greenfield Central in 1957 and received an Associates Degree from Indiana Business College.
Judy was an administrative assistant for the First United Methodist Church in Noblesville for the last 8 years and had formerly worked for 11 years in the same position at East Lynn Christian Church in Anderson.
She was an active member of United Methodist churches in both Lapel and Noblesville and she served as a lay minister.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Tom Romine; two daughters, Jane Stanley of Greenfield, and Penny McLean of Fortville; two grandsons, Justin Roy Stanley and Kurtis Michael McLean; one brother, William McCain of Binghamton, New York.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm Monday, August 11, 2008 at First United Methodist Church in Noblesville with Rev. Jack Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.
Visitation will be from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm Monday, August 11, 2008 at First United Methodist Church, 2051 Monument Street, Noblesville.
