Joshua Michael Borden

Joshua Michael Borden, 48, of Anderson, passed unexpectedly August 16, 2023, in Indianapolis, IN.  Joshua was born March 3, 1975, to his ever-devoted loving parents, George “Mike” and Nancy “Sue” Borden. He was a graduate of ICA. He continued to a career in hotel service.

His whole world was found in his children. He worked to share in the experiences as they traveled throughout the United States, visiting all the lower 48, as a family, together. He lived for the time he would spend with his friends and family. No matter if he was good at the activity or not, he always was present. Joshua enjoyed watching movies with his children, playing games with them and being with them, always. He planned a three-week road trip every year, just for them. His love and energy were felt by all that he surrounded himself with. He also had a special bond with his beloved cat, Mia. Just like Joshua she loved everyone.  Joshua also lived for his parents, balancing what he learned from them and what he was teaching his loving children, he was the definition of life.

He is survived by his parents; his daughters, Tori Layne and Laney Borden; sons, Jeremy and Deakin Borden and a host of extended family.

Services will be Monday, August 21, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service and Crematory, 515 E 53^rd St. Anderson, IN. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. and continue until service time. Graveside service will follow immediately at Anderson Memorial Park.
