Joshua 'Josh' Paul Lynch

Joshua Paul "Josh" Lynch, 40, Anderson, passed away Monday, December 3, 2018, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital in Anderson following a brief illness.
He was born on February 18, 1978, in Carmel to Keith and Chris (Hersberger) Lynch.
Josh was graduated from Lapel High School in 1996.
He was employed by Amocor in Anderson.
Josh played football from little league through high school and lettered four years. He enjoyed collecting knives and swords. He loved animals and children. Josh was a very loyal and kind-hearted individual.
He is survived by his parents; his grandmother, Phyllis Hersberger; his sister-friend, Brandy Jo Roberts; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Joshua was preceded in death by his brother, Jordan; and grandparents, Paul Hersberger, Keith Lynch, Sr., Joyce Melling, and Marylee Hurst.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 8, 2018, at , at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Madison County Humane Society.
