Joshua Allen Shepler

Joshua Allen Shepler, 36, of Anderson, passed away on May 31, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born in Peru on March 15, 1983 to Steven Shepler and Jennifer Chambers. Joshua was employed as a driver manager at Carter Express. He also worked as a dock worker at Federal Express Freight in Anderson. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 127 in Anderson, ABATE of Indiana, American Legion Riders Group. Joshua enjoyed motorcycles, fishing and spending time with his children. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Joshua is survived by his children, Dakota Shepler of Muncie and Ava Shepler of Anderson; parents, Jennifer (Boyle) Chambers of Muncie and Steven and Nicole Shepler of Anderson; siblings, Sandra (Matt) Lineback of Hastings, Michigan, twin-Jeremy (Diedre) Shepler of Muncie, Katlynn (Jared) McIver of Muncie; grandmothers, Jill Smith, Jacquline Boyle, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Betty Shepler; and grandfather, Dean Boyle. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 8th from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at the American Legion Post 127, 4118 Columbus Ave., Anderson. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 127, Anderson.
