Rev. Joseph Willis Lintz, 85, of Pendleton, died May 19, 2018 at St. Vincent Anderson Hospital in Anderson, Indiana following an extended illness.He was born May 10, 1933 in Cory, Indiana and was a Pendleton resident most of his life.He was a Gospel minister and a carpenter for many years.He attended Indiana Bible College and was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church, Pendleton.He assisted at several churches and ministries in Gaston, Summitville and Pendleton as well missionary work and bible studies for over 55 years.He was preceded in death by daughter, Cathy Jo Metzger; son, Joey Wayne Lintz; and granddaughter, Jennifer Jo Nall.Survivors include his wife, Barbara H. (Neal) Lintz whom he married, June 4, 1951 in Jeffersonville, Indiana; son, Gregory W. Lintz; several brothers and sisters; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.Services 11 a.m., Friday, May 25, 2018 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton, Indiana 46064 with Rev. Lance Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson, Indiana. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 24, 2018 and 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, May 25, 2018 at Lahm Chapel, Pendleton. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
