Joseph L. Bigelow

Dr. Joseph L. “Joe” Bigelow, passed away Friday, July 8, 2016.

Joe was born in Valparaiso, Indiana to the late Cecil and Lexie Bigelow.

He attended school in Valparaiso and graduated high school in 1952, received his BA from Valparaiso University in 1956, and graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1959. He served an internship and residency at Indiana University Hospitals from 1959 until 1962. He moved to Anderson and practiced oral surgery from 1962 until his retirement in 1997.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, James T. Bigelow.

Survivors include his son, Joseph C. Bigelow of Tucson, Arizona; daughter, Cheryl Williams of New Albany, Indiana; and her three sons.

In accord with his wishes, there will be no services.

Cremation will be arranged by Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory.
