Joseph Edward Joe Fish

Joseph Edward Joe Fish, 73, Anderson, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at Community Hospital in Anderson following after an extended period of declining health.
He was born on December 28, 1937, in Elwood, Indiana to Paul and Juanita (Sylvester) Fish.
Joe retired from the former Delco Remy division of General Motors in Anderson after 35 years of employment.
He was a member of the Anderson Red Men's Lodge; American Legion; and was an avid fisherman and Jeff Gordan fan.
He is survived by three children, Connie (husband, Billy) Boyer of Anderson, Roger Fish of Anderson, and Brian Fish of Markleville; two grandchildren, Ashley and Jamie Fischer of Berne; two brothers, Jim (wife, Dee) Fish of Missouri, and John Fish of Texas; three step-children, Lavonne McGuire, Susie McGuire, and Richard McGuire; and two step-grandchildren, Erica Tomlin and Heather Ball.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Josephine Fish; one brother, Arthur Fish; two sisters, Loice Pardue, and Sue VanDuyn; a step-daughter, Teresa McGuire; and a step-granddaughter, Nicci Swan.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, July 2, 2011, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, July 1, 2011, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
