Johnnie Marie Hogue, 89, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Lindberg Crossing Nursing Home. She was born June 27, 1927, in Overton County, Tennesee to the late Thomas & Mae (Beasley) Bilbrey. Johnnie worked for National Tile Factory and Nicholson File Company before retiring from South Meridian Church of God. Gardening was her passion but she also loved fishing and camping, which she did for 33 years with Frank. She is survived by her husband, Frank B. Hogue; children, Patsy (James) Gibson, Joyce (Randy) Weidner, Carol Stern, & Linda (Dan) Eastman; daughter-in-law, Debbie Taylor; stepson, Frank J. Hogue; siblings, James (Eunice) Bilbrey, Coreen Cravens, Faye McCowen, Ronald (Jean) Bilbrey, and Kenneth Bilbrey; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. Johnnie was preceded in death by her son, Dannie Taylor; siblings, Clyde Lee Bilbrey, Willard Bilbrey, Bonnie Bilbrey, and Bobbie West; and grandchildren, Amanda Gibson & Rusty Hogue. Service will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 8, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from Noon until time of services at the funeral home.
