John D. Wolz

John D. Wolz, 71, of Knightstown, Indiana, passed away October 26, 2024, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis , Indiana following a brief illness. He was born on December 31, 1952, in St. Louis to Joseph Wolz and Julia (Carden) Wolz.

John graduated from high school in Missouri. 

He was retired from Iremco as a maintenance technician. John enjoyed being a handyman and could fix most anything. He loved vintage cars, NASCAR, car shows on TV, but his family and his dogs were his love.

John is survived by his wife, Michele Wolz; brother, Stephen (Betty) Wolz; a sister, Therese Wolz- Heitkamp;sister in law, Kathy Wolz; four sons, Jeff (Kristin) Wolz of Knightstown, Michael Wolz of MO, James (Mandy) Wolz of TN, Jason (Stephanie) Merrill of MO; and a daughter, Christine Wolz of MO; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother Joseph Wolz.

Celebration of Life services will be held on November 9, 2024 at 6412 W. CR 350 S. Knightstown, IN 46148 at 12:00 PM and November 16, 2024 at New Town at St. Charles Town Hall, 3300 Rue Royal Street, St. Charles, MO. 63301 from 2-6 PM.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Bozell Funeral Home, Condo Chapel, 130 S. Main St. Wilkinson, IN 46186.
