John T. "J. T." Schuyler, 93, Lapel, passed away Monday, December 16, 2019, at Rawlins House in Pendleton following brief illness.He was born on October 26, 1926, in Lapel to John and Myrtle (McCarty) Schuyler.J. T. was graduated from Lapel High School in 1944.He farmed his entire life.J. T. was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church where he had served as Trustee. He is survived by two sons, Gary (Gail) Schuyler and Bob (Stephanie) Schuyler; three grandchildren, Zack, Billy, and Stone; and four great-grandchildren, Liam, Avery, Charlie, and Scarlet.J. T. was preceded in death by his parents; his wives, Mary Jane and Betty; and two brothers, Joe and George.A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 19, 2019, at Hersberger-Bozell Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel with Pastor Zack Schuyler officiating.
