John Robert Mcduffee

John Robert McDuffee, 90, of Anderson passed away December 9, 2018 following a sudden illness. He was born March 19, 1928 in Fairfield, IL, the son of Robert Lee and Gladys (Walters) McDuffee. He was a graduate of Markleville High School. On April 7, 1949 he married Jane Ann Humke in Carmel and together they raised their daughter, Erin. He retired from Delco-Remy after 40 years of service. He was a member of Whetstone Christian Church and Fellowship Lodge #681. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Jane Ann McDuffee of Anderson; daughter, Erin (Dana) Parrish of Anderson; grandchildren, Kelly (Matthew) Minnich of Pendleton and Jeffrey Parrish of Greenwood; great-grandchildren, Gracie & Charlotte Minnich; sister, Helen Jean Morris of Ohio; and sister-in-law, Mary Jane McDuffee. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Billy McDuffee and Arnold Lee McDuffee. Services will be held on Friday at 2:00 pm at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Pastor Steve Gettinger officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at the funeral home with a Masonic service starting at 1:45 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Whetstone Christian Church, 5940 Madison Ave, Anderson, IN 46013 or the Christian Center, 625 Main St, Anderson, IN 46016.
