On Saturday, March 9, 2019, John Marvin Eltzroth, loving son, brother, and uncle, passed away at age 54.John was born October 24, 1964 in Muncie, Indiana to Ron and Mary (Holbrook) Eltzroth. As a special needs student, John attended programs at Ball State University, Crossroads Rehabilitation Services, Indiana University, Indiana School for the Deaf, and Greenfield Central High School. At a young age, after watching a clown make balloon animals, John began a lifelong passion for balloons and making balloon animals himself. John enjoyed adventure and travel, often exploring central Indiana with his father. An avid fan of Mickey Mouse, Walt Disney World was a favorite destination for him and his family. John was a sweet and gentle soul, loved by all who got to know him.John is survived by his father and mother, Ron and Mary (Holbrook) Eltzroth; sisters, Linda Yeager and Lisa (Walt) Nordstrom; niece, Katherine (Caleb) Upton; aunts, Nadine Clark and Cynthia Irene Sigsbee; aunt and uncle, JoAnn and Jimmy Rose; aunt, Barbara Holbrook; and many cousins.Services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, 211 E. State St., Pendleton, Indiana 46064 with Reverend Don Deena Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Grove Lawn Cemetery, Pendleton, Indiana.Visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Lahm Chapel, Pendleton.
