John Henry Staton, 68, of Anderson, passed away Friday, March 18, 2022, at Golden Health Living in Muncie following a brief illness.He was born on August 4, 1953, in Noblesville, Indiana to Joseph Everett Staton and Pearl Maxine (Small) Staton.John enjoyed spending time with friends at local bars in the Anderson area.He is survived by one sister, Irene Jenkins of Noblesville and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is also survived by special friends, Ken and Teya Kocinski.John was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Robert Eugene, Joe Allen, and Richard Everett, two sisters, Lois Marie Windham and Sonja Hill.A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at The Warehouse, 712 E. 19th Street, Anderson, Indiana.Cremation will take place.Hersberger-Bozell Funeral Home has been entrusted to the services for John.Online condolences: www.hersbergerbozell.com
