John Coleman Richardson

John Coleman Richardson, 80, of Chesterfield, Indiana, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Community Hospital after a brief illness. John was born October 1, 1938 in Anderson, Indiana to Roy R & Florence (Stone) Richardson. He was a veteran of the Army and member of Paratroopers, 82nd Airborne, American Legion, and had been a committee men for General Motors where he worked for 36 years in production. John is survived by his wife Betty L. Richardson, who he married July 21, 1962, sons Scott (spouse Sherry) Richardson, John (spouse Nanette) Richardson; grandchildren Coby, Zachary, Shelby, and Catlin, and his great granddaughter Adelynn; Brother Don Richardson, Ft. Myers, Florida, and sister Joyce Qualls, Anderson, Indiana: Brother-in-Law Joe Branch. Services to celebrate the life of John will be Monday, September16, 2019 at Brown Butz and Diedering Service and crematory, 515 East 53rd Street, Anderson, Indiana at 1:00 p.m with Father Robert Williams officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, September 15, 2019 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service and Crematory from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Burial will follow services at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Anderson, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s favorite charity of their choice.
