John Bruce Clay, 68, of Indianapolis, passed away on February 8, 2019 at Community Hospital North. He was born on December 7, 1950 in Noblesville to the late Charles and Ethel Pearl (DeHart) Clay. John retired from the Federal Government as an engineer after 30 years of service.John is survived by his wife, Michelle (McCarty) Clay of Indianapolis; children, Timothy Clay of Bloomington, J.B. Clay of Moab, Utah; siblings, Beverly McVeigh of Lawrence, David Clay of Honolulu, Hawaii, Vicki Ostergren of Redding, California, Nancy (Ron) Knight of Indianapolis; several nieces and nephews; Vicki Clay and Joe Eberhart of Pendleton.A Traditional and Native American Ceremony will be held on Monday at 6:00 pm at Wilson St.Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory – Lahm Chapel, 211 E. State St., Pendleton, IN 46064. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the funeral home. Flowers and/or contributions may be made to Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service – Lahm Chapel.
