Joan Kincaid Wright

Joan Kincaid Wright, 92, Anderson, passed away October 3, 2015, at her residence after a brief illness.

She was born February 5, 1923, in Anderson, the daughter of the late Dorval and Mary (Goff) Sisson. She was a graduate of Anderson High School and Ball State University and retired from Anderson Community Schools in 1981 after 20 years of teaching. Joan was a member of Central Christian Church and the Anderson Civic Women’s Club.

She is survived by her three Children, Camille (Steve) Little of Anderson, Gregg (Cindy) Kincaid of Indianapolis and Carol Koger of Bowling Green, KY; three step-children, Donita (Bruce) Rada of Anderson, Gary D. (Kathy) Wright of Noblesville and Marcia Lambert of LA; also surviving are ten grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Donald E. Kincaid and Donald C. Wright; two brothers, Robert Sisson and Donald Sisson.

The family would like to thank all of Joan’s caregivers for all their care and concerns.

Service will be at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Rev. Rick Vale officiating. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery.

Friends may call from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
