Jo Ann Holycross

Jo Ann Holycross, 91, Lapel, passed away Saturday at Countryside Manor in Anderson following a brief illness.
She was born on October 1, 1926, in Lima, Ohio to Lawrence Marshall and Albertine Wilhelmine (Heil) Cunningham.
Jo Ann was graduated from in 1944 from Lima High School.
She worked briefly in the cafeteria at a General Motors plant in Anderson.
Jo Ann was a member of the W.I.V.E.S. club in Anderson for many years.
She is survived by two sons, Kenny Holycross of Anderson and Wayne Holycross of Lapel; two grandsons, Brian and Ryan Holycross; and four great-grandchildren, Cameron, Abby, Gavin, and Brayden.
Jo Ann was preceded in death by her husband, James Loren.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel with Rev. Margie Vandergraff officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank the staffs of Community Hospital and Countryside Manor, and St. Vincent Hospice for their gentle care of their mother
