Jimmy E. Bell, 71, of Pendleton passed away May 27, 2018 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.He was born February 4, 1947 in Russell County, Kentucky and was a Pendleton resident since 1974. Jimmy retired from General Motors Delco Remy, Anderson in 1997 after 30 years of service.He was a 1965 graduate of Russell County High School. Jimmy deeply loved all his family and enjoyed going back to Kentucky to visit. He enjoyed woodworking, collecting pocket knives and attending auctions.He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Beulah (Snow) Bell; sister and brother-in-law, Ilene and Leland Payton; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Billy Loy; and brothers-in-law, Sarge Underwood and Scott Grider.Survivors include his son, Jason (wife, Missy) Bell of Pendleton; brother, Glenn Bell of Indianapolis; sisters, Diana Underwood of Louisville, Kentucky and Marketta Grider of Bowling Green, Kentucky; three grandchildren, J.T. Alverson, Quinton Alverson and Ella Bell; special friend, Linda Bolin of McCordsville; and several nieces and nephews.Services at 2 p.m., Friday, June 1, 2018 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, 211 E. State St., Pendleton, Indiana 46064 with Tom Wiles officiating.
