Jessie A. Greene

Jessie A. Greene, 74, Anderson, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital following an extended illness.
He was born on November 24, 1942, in Wise, Virginia to Lloyd and Minnie (Dotson) Greene.
Jessie retired as a truck driver and had also worked for many years in Virginia coal mines.
He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed being outdoors.
Jessie is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sharon Nyoka (Brown); one daughter, Rebecca (husband, Joe) Rastetter of Anderson; three grandchildren, Madison, Will, and Gage Rastetter; three sisters; three step-daughters, Sheryl Delaplane, Karen Kelley, and Donna Dunn; and five step-grandchildren
Jessie was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers.
There will be no visiting or service.
Private burial will take place in a family cemetery in Virginia.
