Jesse Faust

Jesse Faust, 86, Anderson, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at his home following a brief illness. He was born on December 27, 1927, in Pendleton, Indiana to Ira and Audrey (Huffman) Faust. He graduated from Lapel High School in 1945. Jesse retired in 1987 from Ford Motor Company in Indianapolis where he had worked as an electrician for 30 years. He was a member of the Lapel Masonic Lodge No. 625; the Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis; the Murat Temple Shrine; and the Madison County Shrine Club. He is survived by three children, James "Wille" (wife, Martha) Faust of Indianapolis, John Faust of Franklin, and Janet (husband, Paul) Kisor of Noblesville; and three grandchildren, Brandon, Nichole, and Thaddeus Kisor. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 62 years, Phyllis Katherine (Merrill) Faust; and a sister, Norma Miller. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, October 17, 2014, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday, October 16, 2014, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel where a Masonic Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Madison County Shrine Van Fund, 2419 White Street, Anderson, Indiana 46012.
