Jennifer Dell Martin

Jennifer Dell (McIlrath) Martin, 62, Wabash, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016, at her home following a brief illness.

She was born on February 8, 1954, in Anderson, Indiana to Fred and Hazel McIlrath.

She graduated from Madison Heights High School.

Jennifer retired in 2003 from the Fort Wayne General Motors Assembly Plant and had been employed at the former Delco Remy plant in Anderson.

She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Jack Martin; one son, Chad Riseden of Sweetser and a step-daughter, Amanda Paddock of Lapel; three grandchildren, Rachel Riseden of Gas City, Madison and Wyatt Martin of Atlanta; one brother, James McIlrath of Lake Placid, FL; and a sister, LeAnn Kellams of Middletown.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Judy Badgley and Vicki Winemiller.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Monday, March 7, 2016, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Pastor Tyson Priest officiating.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Monday, March 7, 2016, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
