Jeffery Eugene Perkins

Jeffery Eugene Perkins, 72, of Lapel, passed away March 9, 2025, at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born on December 24, 1952, in Anderson, Indiana to Betty Jean Perkins. He worked for Ashley Furniture. He had previously worked for Musselman Farms as a driver. In his younger years he worked for the State Highway Department

He was a member of the Lapel American Legion Post #212 where he enjoyed chatting with his friends and having a drink or two. He was a former member of the Lapel Eagles Aerie #4323. He loved his dog, Lola.

Jeffery is survived by his daughter-in-law, Cindy Enyeart and two very good friends, Kenny Huffman and Cris Cossell.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Cremation will take place. A memorial service will be held at the Lapel American Legion Post #212 at a later date.
