Jeannie Watson, 70, Pendleton, passed away Monday, December 29, 2014, at Allisonville Meadows in Fishers following an extended illness. She was born on April 4, 1944, in Anderson, Indiana to Cassell and ClaraBelle (Hawley) Rich. She graduated from Lapel High School in 1962. Jeannie was a member of the Greenbriar Community Church in Anderson. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Steve Watson; two daughters, Amy (husband, David) Brown of St. Joseph, Mich., and Stefanie Watson of Pendleton; eleven grandchildren, Davis, Anna, Evan, Ivan, Clara Grace, and Ella Brown, Greer and Gray Ginley, Kalen, and Kassidy Baker, and Gavyn Kirby; two brothers, Zeke (wife, Julie) Rich and Terry (wife, Debbie) Rich both of Anderson; and one sister, Peggy (husband, Chris) Nunley of Newberg. She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Angie Watson and Julie Ginley. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am Friday, January 2, 2015, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Pastor Brad Brizendine officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Thursday, January 1, 2015, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Greenbriar Community Church, 1602 Woodbine Drive, Anderson, Indiana 46011.
