Jeanne Frances Hayden

ANDERSON- Jeanne Frances Hayden, 84, of Anderson passed away at her home on October 12, 2023.

Jeanne was born on September 17, 1939 in Pendleton and was a lifelong resident of Pendleton and Anderson.

She retired from Guide Lamp in Anderson on September 30, 1999 following 32 years of service. Previously she was a secretary for Farm Bureau Insurance and the Indiana State Police Post in Pendleton.

Jeanne was a 1957 graduate of Pendleton High School. She loved to shop.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vearl and Ethel (Krebs) Ring; her husband, Terry J. Hayden whom she dated three years before they married on March 28, 1964; and brother-in-law, Ted Hayden.

Survivors include her sons, Terry Hayden (Mindy) and Jason Hayden; granddaughters, Alexis Hayden and Stacy Gregory (Stephen); twin great granddaughters, Oakley and Georgia Gregory; and brother, Jim Ring (Penny).

Services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton with Pastor Michael Canada officiating. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Lahm Chapel.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Lapel Fire Department or South Madison Fire Territory with envelopes available at the funeral home.
