Janice Sue Michael

Janice Sue Michael, 77, of Anderson, passed away, August 4, 2016 at her residence following an extended illness.

She was born June 16, 1939, to the late John and Pearl (Burton) Bailey. She resided in Madison County and Marion County, was a homemaker, and a member of Connection Pointe Church.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, James W. Michael; her children, Toni Shellhorn of Anderson, William “Bill” Michael of Anderson; daughter-in-law, Cindy Michael-Sofronko; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a brother, Darrell “Beetle” Bailey of Anderson.

She was preceded in death by a son, James “Kevin” Michael; daughter Pamela Michael; a great granddaughter; and a brother, Terry Bailey.

Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Connection Pointe Church,2702 West 38th Street, Anderson, Indiana 46011, with Rev. Timothy Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at Grovelawn Cemetery in Pendleton.

Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.
